    Since 1950, Mask-Off has been committed to manufacturing the highest quality pressure sensitive masking products, known around the world as Protex.

    Following from Northrop, their first customer, Protex would be quickly established as the best quality pressure sensitive masking products available on the market. McDonnell Douglas added several Protex tape products to their specifications, cementing Mask-Off as a trusted supplier in the industry. 

    Many global aerospace manufacturers including Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, PPG, Gulfstream and Bombardier rely on multiple, trust Protex products to protect surfaces from costly damage associated with heavy industrial environments. Making Protex a protective film manufacturer.

    Roll of Protex 20v

    Protex 20V

    PROTEX 20V is a 20 mil latex saturated tape which has an external vinyl coating, increasing its abrasion resistance.

    • Substrate: Paper
    • Thickness: 20mil
    • Adhesion Level: High

    Applications: Suitable for windows, canopies and windshields, wooden interiors as well as high traffic areas such as cabin floors and entry points.

    Roll of green Protex 8216-2

    PROTEX 8216-2

    PROTEX 8216-2 is a 2 mil polyester film with an acrylic latex adhesive. This product is supplied in various sizes.

    • Substrate: Paper
    • Thickness: 2mil
    • Adhesion Level: Low

    Applications: Suitable for metals especially polished aluminium and protects from degreasing and chemical conversion processes.

    Protex 10V

    PROTEX 10V is a 10 mil latex saturated tape which has an external vinyl coating, increasing its abrasion resistance.

    • Adhesion Level: High

    Protex 50

    Protex 50 is a 4-5 mil latex saturated paper. It is used for protection of various metal and painted surfaces.

    • Adhesion Level: Medium
