The Momentive RTV100 Series includes the RTV102, RTV103, RTV106, RTV108, RTV109, RTV112, RTV116 and RTV118 adhesive sealants. They are one-component, ready-to-use adhesive sealants that are extremely versatile.

In silicones, RTV is an acronym for 'room-temperature-vulcanising' - defining a type of silicone that cures at room temperature.

RTV silicones cure after 24 hours, compared to 72 hours for standard silicones. RTV silicones have excellent adhesion to most surfaces, including metals, plastics and ceramics, while standard silicones have more limited adhesion, best suited to non-porous surfaces such as glass, metals and ceramics. RTV silicones are more flexible than standard silicones, with a temperature range of -53.8°C (-65°F) to 232.2°C (450°F), whereas standard silicones tend to operate at -40°C (-40°F) to 232.2°C (450°F).
