Product Information

Brayco 589 is intended for preservation of turboprop and turbojet engines. This corrosion preventative oil is capable of limited use, not to exceed 25 hours, as an aircraft engine lubricant, and can be used for both preservation and final acceptance runs of aircraft engines requiring MIL-PRF-7808 oils.

Since Brayco 589 is a synthetic ester based fluid it may adversely affect certain paints and elastomers. Serious deterioration of rubber parts, coatings, paint, and other organic materials may result from use of this product in systems designed for use with petroleum based fluids.

Features:

  • Temperature Range The recommended operating temperature range for MIL-PRF-7808 type oils are from - 54°C to 149°C (-65°F to 300°F).
  • Specifications Brayco 589 meets all the requirements of, and is qualified to MIL-PRF-8188D.
  • This fluid is identified by NATO Code: C-638.
  • Shelf Life Brayco 589 has a maximum recommended shelf life of 9 years from date of manufacture.
  • This shelf life assumes that the product is stored in its original unopened packaging in ambient temperature conditions.

Trade Counter is open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, located at the front of our distribution centre.

Same-Day Collection available for orders placed before 3:00 pm.

Orders not collected within 7 working days will incur a 25% restocking fee. For international orders, this period is extended to 14 working days.

Door to Door

The freight zone is based upon the Fedex International Priority zones, used to calculate the shipping rate according to the destination country. Goods will be delivered at place as defined by INCOTERMS 2020.

FCA

Additional packing costs may apply if goods are to be shipped by Air Freight. They will be handed to the chosen carrier with the required paperwork according to the free carrier terms as set out in INCOTERMS 2020. Please note that you agree to pay the applicable carrier charges by agreeing to this delivery option.
