Product Information
The product combines mineral oils and oxidized waxes to deliver superior lubrication and unparalleled corrosion protection. Aggressive accelerated salt spray tests demonstrate up to three times the protective capabilities of competing products. It is a highly versatile and effective non-sticky lubricant suitable for light-duty applications. It effortlessly penetrates and releases corroded components, nuts, and bolts. Additionally, it is non-conductive and effectively displaces water from wet components, switches, motors, and ignition systems. It also protects electrical contacts against corrosion by incorporating oxidized waxes and corrosion preventatives. During storage and after aqueous cleaning, it shields components, mechanisms, and equipment from corrosion. Its solvent-cleaning action swiftly flushes away old oil and grease residues, making it safe for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Moreover, the aerosol version of Shield utilizes pbca technology, which employs compressed air propellant to minimize environmental impact.
