In the manufacture of large bonded areas it is not always possible to achieve perfect match of the component parts on the first attempt. Use of AF 3306-2 between the tacky adhesive and the component enables the fabricator to reposition the parts without destroying the integrity of the adhesive film. AF 3306-2 also serves to vent off entrapped air prior to use in large metal to metal bonding applications.
