The mixed compound can be easily applied by brush and will not drip from overhead surfaces due to its excellent viscosity. When used with PR1826 Adhesion promoter, the sealant will easily adhere to a range of aircraft materials. The cured sealant can resist temperatures ranging from -62°C (-80°F) and +149°C (+300°F), also allowing for exposure up to +216°C (+420°F).
The product provides excellent protection from aircraft fuels (aviation jet fuel or gasoline), petroleum-based fuels and deterioration by diphosphate ester-type hydraulic fuels.
