3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 163-2 designates a family of thermosetting modified epoxy structural adhesives in film form which are available in a variety of weights with or without a supporting carrier.
Product Details:
- Helps to reduces cost; simplifies production and inventory management due to use on multiple substrates and compatibility with a variety of primers
- High fracture toughness and peel strength
- Excellent resistance to high moisture environments before and after curing
- Reduces Aircraft on Ground time (AOG); short cure time at 225°F (107°C) in 90 minutes
- Enables design flexibility; high bond strength from -67°F to 250°F (-55°C to 121°C)
