Three Bond 1324 is a one-component, solvent free anaerobic reactive adhesive / sealant which has been specially developed for locking and sealing fitted parts with medium strength when cured, particularly where disassembly may be required.

Applications:

  • Bonding close fitted parts such as bearings, gears and pulleys onto shafts.
  • Locking keys and splines.
  • Retaining journals in soft metals.

Features:

  • Due to low viscosity allows the use of slip fits instead of press and interference fits.
  • Reduces machining costs.
  • Eliminates backlash in keys and splines.
  • Easily joins dissimilar materials.
  • Eases assembly by aiding bearings and bushing to find alignment points.
  • Eliminates resizing of bushings due to distortion from pressing.
  • Prevents fretting and corrosion by completely sealing assemblies in slip fits.
