They have controlled particle size and have been specifically designed to operate with Ardrox and Xmor, red dye and fluorescent penetrant systems. Ardrox 947 is especially suited for the treatment of rinse waters containing fluorescent penetrants.

Application:
The efficiency of the filter will decrease over saturation of the activated carbon particles and should consequently be checked on a regular basis. Tendency to foam of the treated water will reveal an increase of the surfactant content while saturation in dye will be obvious as the treated water will remain reddish.
When Ardrox 947 is used to filter pre-wash water of a post-emulsifiable penetrant system, we recommend installing an oil separator as the un-emulsified oil has the potential to saturate the activated carbon
