It is a two-part Permapol P-3 polythioether compound that can withstand temperatures ranging from -55°C (-67°F) to +150°C (+302°F). Even after extended exposure to jet fuel, aviation gas, and petroleum-based lubricating oils, the cured product maintains excellent elastomeric properties.
The uncured mixture can be applied using a brush or roller, quickly forming a fuel-resistant elastomer at room temperature. When combined with PR148 AF adhesion promoter (sold separately), the sealant exhibits excellent adhesion to alclad, titanium, stainless steel, coated surfaces, and itself.
