Scapa CW874 comprises a glass scrim reinforced aluminium tape coated with an aggressive cold weather acrylic adhesive, supplied with a siliconised paper liner. This very strong, high performance aluminium tape is ideal for use in a range of demanding applications and environmental conditions.

Features:

  • For use as a heat deflector.
  • Good high and low temperature resistance °service temperature: °35°C to +120°C.
  • Scrim reinforced for extra strength.
  • Good water vapour resistance.
  • Same aluminium visual aspect to blend in easily with air ducts.
  • Good ageing resistance both indoors and outdoors.
  • Soft and conformable.
  • Aluminium backing provides good reflection of both heat and light.
  • Cold weather high quality adhesive for good bonding to a range of substrates.
  • Good mechanical resistance.

Applications:

  • General purpose patching, sealing and holding applications.
  • Joining fibre insulation on aircraft.
  • Joining of foil faced glass fibre or duct board joints.
  • Sealing cold store insulation.
  • For use as a water vapour seal of sheet metal ducts.
  • Closing rigid air duct insulation.
  • For use as a heat deflector.
