PPG PR1770 B-1/2 High Strength Fuel Tank Sealant
PPG PR1770 Class B is a high strength, aircraft-integral, two-part fuel tank sealant. Designed for the fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage applications, the cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas.

It is a manganese dioxide cured Permapol P-5 polysulfide compound and the uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula.
It has a service temperature range of -55°C (-67°F) to 180°C (356°F). It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
